Abstract
Humans have known and carried out buying and selling activities since they recognized civilization as a form of fulfillment of needs. The existence of traditional markets and modern markets has become an inseparable part of the life of urban communities. The growth and development of traditional markets have recently become a concern and have become a hot topic of discussion in the Indonesian trading world. The shift in lifestyle from traditional to modern has created changes in consumer spending patterns, so that people also experience changes in the choice of places to buy their daily necessities. Consumer purchasing plans are influenced by various factors, one of which is internal factors, namely factors that exist in the consumer himself. This research was conducted to determine what factors significantly influence purchasing decisions in the traditional markets of Depok City. The method of analysis used in this research is multiple regression analysis method. Based on the results of the analysis in this study, it is known that of the four internal factors, namely cultural, social, personal and psychological factors, the factors that significantly influence the decision to shop in the traditional markets of Depok City are cultural and personal factors. However, when viewed simultaneously or collectively, these internal factors are significant for the decision to shop at the traditional markets in Depok City.
