Abstract
In 2020 the international world was shocked by a peace deal that made new history internationally. The normalization of diplomatic relations between the United Arab Emirates and Israel took place on August 13, 2020 at the White House, Washington DC has taken place. The two countries come from different backgrounds and cling to religious and cultural values. The United Arab Emirates is one of the Arab states closely related to Islam while Israel is a country whose presence invites controversy because it annexes palestinian territory. In addition, Israel is also a country known as the Jewish religion, so the relationship between the two countries that occurred became a new historical value formed in the world. However, the normalization of diplomatic relations that occurred did not occur suddenly, many interactions were carried out by the two countries before the normalization that involved trade cooperation even to defense cooperation. Many stages have been carried out by the two countries over the decades to be able to realize this diplomatic relationship. Then there are several factors that encourage the creation of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Among them, both countries have the same threat, namely those from Iran and both countries also have their national interests which are in the interests of both countries and are the factors behind the normalization of diplomatic relations.
