Abstract

Abstract: The present study examined the diference of self regulated learning strategies between regular class students and bilingual class students in Darussalam Islamic Junior Highschool. A total of 100 students from two junior highschoo different class programe participated in this study. Students were given a measure of their use of self regulated learning strategies using The Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) on learning strategies scale. Independent sample t-test's were used to examine the differences in The result selfregulated learning strategies obtained show non-significant difference (P =0,789 andt= 0,110) in cognitive strategies between class student (M reguiar = 2,32) and bilingual class student (M 2,42). And then, significant difference (P = 1,000 0,02) of metacognitive and t strategies obtained between regular class student (M 2,27) and bilingual class (M 2,49). Finaly, stuaen significant difference (P = 0,29 and t= 0,045) of resource and management strategies obran between regular class student (M = 2,36) and bilingual class student (M =2,47).
