Abstract
This article investigates the interplay between time management and burnout among design practitioners. Given the goal-oriented and project-based nature of design practice, this study employs a cross-disciplinary approach to explore how these factors influence designers' attitudes and behaviors. By utilizing psychological instruments, the research identifies notable links between time management and burnout, and reveals how personal, educational, and professional backgrounds mediate these relationships. Key findings suggest that lacking time management skill is associated with procrastination and burnout, while effective time management can mitigate these issues. The journal recommends integrating time management knowledge into design education to improve job engagement and reduce burnout.
